Lucinda had never seen so many light green roses in her life, and she couldn’t help but smile in amazement.
Nathan approached her, gracefully dropped down on one knee, and held her hand with unwavering devotion.
His eyes were filled with love and affection.
“Lucinda, we started this relationship because of our engagement, and we’re now going to get married because of our babies. But other women have experienced this proposal part, so it’s only fair that you have the same experience.”
He looked up and spoke with utmost sincerity and composure.
“If you’re not a Simmons, and if we have to call off the engagement, I’ll just propose to you again.”
